Observe wildlife kayaking on the river Huach, swim with manatees, dive the Mesoamerican Reef or try your luck catching some bonefish! Or just swing in your hammock under coconut palms, enjoying the views and the Caribbean breeze at our private beach.

Incredible property. Just behind gates, but essentially on the beach. Make sure to ask about snorkeling or any other trip to see the manatees and other sea life. They will help set you up. Elena and her partner are incredible hosts! Delicious pizza!

I cannot begin to describe the wonders of staying at Elena and Lazaro’s oasis at the end of the world! Having quickly booked to escape a hurricane, they greeted us with welcome drinks and a stylish, peaceful space.

Elena & Lázaro are originally from La Havanna, Cuba. They are not only great hosts but also marine biologists & experienced divers. Therefore, they have a wealth of knowledge about the local flora & fauna, and are happy to assist you with any information you need to discover the beauties of this remote area. If you are up to, they will even kayak with you to La Poza to swim with the manatees.
Lázaro is also an excellent chef, specializing on seafood, BBQs and pizzas from our wood fired oven and grill. Not to mention the Mojitos & Cuba Libre…
